Mandy Pomeroy

Meet Mandy Pomeroy, candidate for the Park City School District’s district 4 seat!

 

Mandy is a mother of three beautiful girls who attend two schools in the Park City School District. She is blessed to be married to her best friend, Scott, an airline pilot, who is the love of her life.

 

Mandy began her career in education as an elementary school teacher in the Sunnyvale School District (California) where she taught grades three through five, and was named Teacher of the Year in 2008. Since moving to Park City in 2013, she has become an integral member of the Park City Education Foundation, serving as a board member and chair of the organization’s largest annual fundraising event, the Red Apple Gala.

 

Mandy has served as Parent Teacher Organization president at Jeremy Ranch for the last three years. Additionally, she has served as Girl Scout troop leader to three troops.

Mandy's educational experience extends past elementary grade levels. For the last two years, she worked for Grand Canyon University as an account executive and recruiter, and has served as a substitute teacher within the Park City school district. She is well-versed in all areas of education, from the classroom to the boardroom, and everywhere in between!

​

Mandy has a B.A. degree from Santa Clara University and possesses a Multiple Subject Teaching Credential, with Crosscultural, Language, and Academic Development (CLAD) emphasis.
